I am an all around creative with over 10 years of experience in media, business, fashion and beauty.

 

I have a BA from the University of South Florida where I studied at the presitigious Zimmerman Advertising Program!  I also studied journalism at Middlesex University in London.

 

Through my experiences at my university I was able to hone my skills working on real-life campaigns for companies such as AOL, the Tampa Bay Aquarium and The University Counceling Center.  I applied my marketing and advertising expertise to several local businesses and social media campaigns.  My experience with consumer psychology (paired with some Adobe Creative Suite skills) have allowed me to grow business and defy expectations!

 

I've also been privilaged enough to work in fashion from almost every angle!  I started off interning in the art department of a modeling agency for college credit and later worked for a designer in NY, developing graphic designs and sketching dress ideas.  In fact one of my dresses was presented in her fall NY Fashion Week Collection! The crazy part is I designed the entire thing on my first day on the job!  I was the last person to leave the office...

 

In addition to designing I also worked as a fashion and beauty editor for the past 6 and half years. I was in charge of interviewing designers, beauty experts and celebrities. I also worked on social media campaigns and developing intersting and engaging articles.  As the beauty editor of a popular website, I found myself art directing editorial photo shoots from concept to compeltion, which is certianly hard work but it's a labour of love.

 

Soon I decided to try my hand behind the camera.  Would you believe my first runway shoot was Victoria Secret?!  It's a crazy story involving a snow storm and an errant photographer... and a lot of luck.  However, since then I've photographed backstage and the run way shows of some of the top designers.

 

 

I love to be creative, to plan (whether that be a cocktail party for my friends or a large-scale photo shoot) and am not afraid of hard work or tight deadlines!  When I'm not brainstorming ideas or sketching and doodling in my notebook, you can find me behind my camera or in the kitchen cooking up a storm!
